Super Junior Tops Lady GaGa, Snoop, and Ricky Martin for Mashable Awards

Super Junior Tops Lady GaGa, Snoop, and Ricky Martin for Mashable Awards

Perhaps a bit overdue, but SM Entertainment announced today that Super Junior has won three awards at the “2011 Mashable Awards.” They were picked as the “Must-Follow Musician on Social Media,” “Viral Video of the Year,” and “Best Mobile Game.”
For the “Must-Follow Musician on Social Media,” Super Junior won more votes than Lady GaGa, Snoop Dogg, and Ricky Martin, proving their global prominence. Their music video for “Mister Simple” was the “Viral Video of the Year,” while the “Super Junior Shake” was named the “Best Mobile Game.”

This is not the first time that Super Junior has won the Mashable Awards, as they were also named the “Must-Follow Personality” in 2010. They were also placed #4 on the “2011 Top Trending Topics in Twitter” by Mashable, becoming the only Asian artist to rank in the top 10 list.
This year marks the fifth “Mashable Awards.” It picks winners across 28 different categories, by naming the most influential person, product, or service through online voting. The awards ceremony will be held on January 11 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, but Super Junior will not be able to attend the event due to their schedule with the “Golden Disk Awards” in Japan. Congratulations!

Super Junior's Choi Si Won Gives Up his Seat for SNSD's Taeyeon

Super Junior's Choi Si Won Gives Up his Seat for SNSD's Taeyeon

Recently, several screen captures titled “Kim Min Jong’s Manners Humiliate Choi Si Won” were uploaded to several internet communities. The photos were taken from a broadcast of the press conference for the “Dramatic Live Athena Concert” last Thursday, January 5.
The cast of “Athena: Goddess of War,” as well as SNSD’s Taeyeon, SHINee, and Super Junior, attended the press conference. During the event, the drama’s leads – Soo Ae, Cha Seung Won, Choi Si Won, and Kim Min Jong – sat in front while the others stood behind them. Actor Kim Min Jong noticed Taeyeon standing and suddenly said, “Give your seat to Taeyeon” to Choi Si Won, puzzling them both. Embarrassed, Taeyeon refused; but Choi Si Won gave her his seat, and she carefully sat down.
Netizens who came across the photos commented, “Choi Si Won’s embarrassed, and how nice of Kim Min Jong,” “Haha! Poor Si Won!!! What did he do wrong,” and “Even Soo Ae and Cha Seung Won are laughing.”

Additional Night for "Super Junior World Tour Super Show 4" in Singapore

Additional Night for "Super Junior World Tour Super Show 4" in Singapore

Recently, we have shared that Super Junior would be bringing their "Super Show 4" to Singapore on February 18. In a bid by concert organizer Running Into The Sun to make more tickets available to the massive fan base in Singapore and around the region, the concert is now confirmed for two nights on February 18 (Saturday) at 6PM and February 19 (Sunday) at 4PM. Tickets will be priced at SGD 228 (Arena, Terrace & Mosh Pit) and SGD 168 (Balcony).
"It is for us a great way to start 2012 - 'Super Show 4' will now run for two nights in Singapore, which means double the number of tickets available for fans. Based on the numerous requests we've received asking for an additional night, we trust this will be good news for fans," says Beatrice Chia-Richmond, Creative Director of Running Into The Sun.
"Super Show 4 in Singapore" will be the first stop across Southeast Asia, with a limited 10,000 tickets available for sale from January 14, 10AM for a one-day priority booking period for OCBC Card members, the official card for the concert. Members of the general public will be able to purchase tickets from January 15, 12PM onwards. All tickets will be made available via Sistic phone, counter and online bookings, and each transaction is capped at a maximum of four tickets, an endeavor by Running Into The Sun to prevent any bulk buying and reselling.
Expect fans to queue over-night in a bid to buy the best seats in the house or standby their computer for the "quickest finger wins" game on January 14. ELFs, are you ready?!
